One of the most popular models from Monard. Per request from our customers, Monard decided to add an entry level jacket. After long consideration and design alterations they finally came up with a model with no compromises in the design, but with a price that would make it a great starter jacket.

The jacket design is very similar to the Monard STANDARD, with the same great fit that our customers like. It offers an anatomical cut that follows the countours of a normal body to make it as comfortable as possible. The fit is what differs the STARTER from other brands.

The material is the same kind of canvas used in the Monard STANDARD, which allows for great support and durability.

Instead of cutting corners on quality of the material or on the fit of the jacket, they realized that they could bring the cost down by selecting two basic colors - blue and white with some red trim. This model is a great value for starter shooters.

The rubber is the same as our STANDARD model and has better friction and is more durable than the early models. The cut has also been slightly improved for a better fit and comfort while shooting. The inside of the elbows have lycra.
This jacket comes in Standard sizes only.The pants have an offset fly that opens up all the way to allow for a comfortable kneeling position while giving optimal support in standing. The back of the pants have the same two-way zippers used in the STANDARD model.

The price is unbeatable. Where else do you find a $175 jacket that can stand by itself?

We are expecting a new version of the jacket and is currently selling out the current version jackets in stock for $150. It is first come, first serve and we will start stocking the new version in 2008.

The jacket is $185 and the pants $160.

We also stock smaller junior sizes, the model is called JUNIOR in junior sizes, but it is the same model with the same features.

If you are slightly larger in one of the measurements, go for the next larger size.
